Controller Ruth Ann Newman ranewman@kneibertclinic.com
Ruth Ann Newman grew up in Frankfort, Kentucky. Her first three words were "Go
Big Blue!" At the University of Kentucky she played flute and piccolo in the
Wildcat Marching Band. Ruth Ann graduated with distinction with a Bachelor
of Science degree in accounting. After graduation, Ruth Ann went to work for
the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. in Nashville, Tennessee.
In 1980, Ruth Ann was married to Thomas C. Newman and moved to Poplar Bluff, Missouri. In 1982, she passed the exam for certified public accountants. Ruth Ann worked in public accounting until 1986, when she joined Kneibert Clinic as controller. Tom and Ruth Ann have two children. John Robert was born in December 1982 and Mary Patricia followed in February 1985.
The Newmans are active members of the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. Ruth Ann is also a member of the Junior Citizenship Club which sponsors the Edgewood Children's Home, and the Xi Theta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She also served a term on the Poplar Bluff Board of Education. |
