Kneibert Clinic is located in Poplar
Bluff, Missouri, a city of approximately 17,000
people in the Ozark foothills of southeast Missouri, 150 miles
south of St. Louis.
The city is a medical hub for the region, serving more than 150,000 people in five adjacent counties with a hospital, a VA Medical Center, and more than 100 physicians.
Community attractions include Three Rivers Community College and its Tinnin Fine Arts Center, the Black River Coliseum, a 5,000-seat community center/indoor pool, the Margaret Harwell Art Museum, a modern public library, a history museum, a railroad museum, the regional Missouri National Guard headquarters, regional State Highway Patrol headquarters and AAA schools. The city also has an Industrial Park and is home to companies producing furniture, engines, wood products, packaging and other goods.
Outdoor recreational opportunities are plentiful along the nearby Black and Current rivers, Wappapello Lake and in abundant National Forest land. Our four-season climate features mild winters and warm summers. Nearby national forests, lakes and scenic rivers provide the backdrop for a multitude of recreational opportunities with boating, hiking, canoeing and camping among the many activities readily available. Situated in the eastern Ozark Mountains, Poplar Bluff offers a safe family environment, evidenced by a low violent crime rate which is half the state and national averages. Community recreation includes an active sports program for boys and girls of all ages and includes baseball, basketball and soccer. The local country club (Westwood Hills) features and excellent 18-hole golf course with very reasonable fees. The public golf course, Ozark Ridge, provides an additional challenging 18 holes.
Our AAA-rated public school system consistently sends graduates to successful college careers and beyond. Three Rivers Community College is fully accredited and provides a wide variety of educational programs.
